SplitZap is a decentralized application (dApp) designed to be privacy-centric. We collect only the minimum data required for the app to function:

• Public Wallet Addresses: To identify users and facilitate Solana settlements.
• Profile Information: Display names and avatar image URLs that you actively provide.
• Expense Data: Group names, spending amounts, and descriptions entered into the application.

2. Public Blockchain Data

Please be aware that any settlement transactions processed via the Solana network are immutable and publicly visible on the blockchain. SplitZap does not control and cannot erase on-chain data.

3. How We Use Information

We use your data strictly to organize your shared expenses, calculate balances, and display user-friendly names instead of raw wallet addresses. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party marketers.

4. Data Storage

App data (groups, expenses, names) is stored in a secure cloud database (Supabase) to sync your groups across devices. You have the right to leave groups and change your display name at any time.
